occupancy_rate
A percentage representing the number of offers "sold" for a certain date compared to the number of offers available for that same date. This is calculated as the number of offers available today for a certain date - the number of offers theoretically available for the same date (defined as the maximum number of offers ever recorded for that date in any scan) divided by the number of offers theoretically available for that same date. 100 means that all offers available at some point for that date are no longer available (i.e. they have been "sold") and 0 means that all offers available are still available. Please note that this number should be treated as directional only as it is subject to what we are able to see on public OTA channels. For example if a particular offer was never made available on OTA channels it will not show up in this calculation. Despite this limitation we believe this value to be helpful especially to perform directional analysis or comparisons.

offers_available
The total number of available offers for the selected POI. An offer is calculated as an individual bookable item as shown on OTA websites. For example if one room is offered at 3 different prices with 3 different cancellation policies we consider this to be 3 offers. At the same time if n rooms are available at the same price we also consider this to be n offers. In this way we want to provide a realistic account of the number of actual items that are available to be booked from a consumer point of view.
