Our Location Data Pack provides a variety of options to cater to your specific needs. We offer Basic Packages and Add-On Packages, which you can mix and match to create a customised data set. Detailed documentation can be found here. After selecting the desired packages, you'll need to provide a set of parameters to further refine your request.
Request Parameters
To ensure the accuracy of our analysis, please provide the designated parameters. If omitted, we will resort to default values. However, if a default is not available our process cannot advance.
When a parameter explicitly Applies to a particular subset of attributes, it is applicable only if your data request encompasses that specific subset.
Parameter | Description | Applies to | Default |
Geographic area | We offer 3 different types of input
- Admin border
- Point and radius
- Custom WKT
Admin border: specific list of cities, regions or countries targeted
Point and radius: a specific point and a defined radius around that point (e.g. 2 km around the Empire State Building)
Custom WKT: a precisely defined geographic area in the form of a .wkt file
Please note that requested geographic areas must be within the same country. | all | - |
Tile Level | The area dimension for which you want the data aggregate is called tile.
Please note that all Location packages contain a set of data where the minimum detail is one geometry. The granularity of the Location packages is defined by a geospatial standard created by Microsoft and open sourced, called Bing tiles. You can find the documentation here β typically we deliver the data at tile 15 granularity, which means itβs about 1000Γ1000 meters size but we could reach 150Γ150 with no extra costs
Available Tile levels are:
13, 14, 15, 16, 17
| all | 15 |
Industry | You can filter by the industries to which the POI belongs (Hospitality, Food & Beverage, Retail...).
β find the full list here. | all | All industries |
Category | You can filter by the category, hierarchical leaf of the industry attribute, to which the POI belongs (Hotel, Bar, Pub, Restaurant, B&B, Museum...).

Timeframe & Time Aggregation for Trends | You may want to request a specific historic timeframe (e.g. last 2 years) and a specific time aggregation range:
- monthly
- quarterly
- semiannually
- annually | - Sentiment Trend
- Popularity Trend | Timeframe: Last year (please note that we can offer data from 01/01/2019)
Time Aggregation: monthly. |
Contract Duration | The duration of the deal. It consists into a timespan in which you will receive the files (1 year, 2 years, β¦) | all | - |
Update Frequency Types
The regularity of data updates plays a crucial role in maintaining accuracy and relevance. Kindly consult the accompanying table to assess our various frequency options.
Type | Description | Frequency | Applies to |
Core | N files delivered per year. The basic POI list is updated within 6 months of the first file generated.
| - One-off (1 file)
- Yearly (1 file per year)
- Semiannually (2 files per year)
- Quarterly (4 files per year)
- Monthly (12 files per year) | Core Attributes alone |
Standard | N files delivered per year with updated KPIs. The basic POI list is updated within 6 months of the first file generated.
Enriching sources and informations are updated from all channels on each update. | - One-off (1 file)
- Yearly (1 file per year)
- Semiannually (2 files per year)
- Quarterly (4 files per year)
- Monthly (12 files per year) | Everything except Core Attributes alone |
